Lot if good stuff on deviantart. One of my albums I found a picture I really liked and contacted the artist, who sold me license to use it for my cover

it depends what your looking for, if your looking for something to promote yourself check out graphicriver.net they have some custom templates on there and its pretty cheap

SXC.hu has really good, free, stock photography.

Try http://unsplash.com/, they post weekly hi-res free images (free for commercial use too). Mostly nature, but you can find all kinds of professional images there.
