This could open up a munch of possibilities. 2 tablets and a mixer instead of CDJ's with the bonus of being able to configure the layout how you want and have tabs for a sampler, Drum machine, effects etc. Another option would be to connect them to a laptop and use them as a control surface.

So much for that idea. Android-based OSes do not have the low latency audio that we require. The issue has existed so long that I've given up hope of Google and hardware manufacturers addressing it.

I've read the books like How to DJ right... to learn about... beatmatching, phrasing w/e , Speed Test Scrabble Word Finder Solitaire but when I go to mix...
They're not going to have the hardware needed for real audio processing. The right tool is never cheap.
