What do you use to hold up your mixer/amp combo case? I need to get in on the secret.

Hey. Ive been using a 4 ft plastic foldout table to hold up my mixer combo case since ive started djing. Now im looking into a stand for it, as the table is becoming a bit tacky. ive yet to see what other dj's use to hold up their case as a facade is always in the way. What do you guys use? Ive seen some old american dj stands but they were designed to work with american dj specialty cases. I need to know-its eating me that im clueless to what you guys use lol. Plz help me out. thanks. peace.

Try a roller case. I love mine...

They aren't cheap, But well worth it!

Yeah get some plastic rack cases. I use GATOR cases(2 of them)
Top one is an angled job(10u on top 8u on the front) with mixer, dual denons, mic preamp/limiter,and rack mounted PC.
Bottom rack(10u) contains 2xamps(bout 1.6k - 3.2k if loaded down), a dual 31band eq,bass processor and x/over.
The two together are a nice height for the mixer/cd combo. I also use a small fold up table with black sheet for the 15" lcd and keyboard/mouse(wireless)
LCD monitors and a full rack with plenty of LED's and screens really wows the general public with 'tech' factor and looks really professional,as well as the fact it holds all of your gear in easy to move boxes which are essentailly waterproof AND lockable!
I've modded my cases so they have fans and associated mic plugs, speakons and xlr's(to link the two,as well as male/female power sockets on the outside so I don't have to open them, looks much better than having open backs!

You could also build your own...I'll take some picks of mine when it's complete. I used to use a table like you with a fabric covered wedge in front so you couldn't see what equipment I had. I'll keep you updated.

I found out that a few dj's in the area use a black table from idjnow.com while i attended a graduation party two nights. I too use gator cases- its just that the white table dosnt cut it anymore. Ill have to look into ordering a table from idjnow. Thanks for the input guys!
