Lighting Packing?

Alright... So, How do you guy's pack your lighting?

I'm thinking Jame's uses flight cases, Or such, As I've seen in some of his photo's.

But for people that's broke, Like me... How do you pack all your lighting?

I found the cheapest way, And a way that kind of look's pro is buying same color Sterilite Box's..
The biggest being a 30 Gal.

They hold all my light's. All but for one par can... *Damn I was off in the width. *

I was using the boxes the lighting came in, Till the damn boxes started falling apart on me..

So, I got me these box's, And they are great, I used bubble wrap and some soft foam.

Work's great! And it's alot faster in moving the shit in to each gig..

Only was around 30 buck's...

That's a good idea Naviss...I myself have seen some guys build their own boxes. Putting seperations in and such and lining it with a soft cloth or padding. Would maybe cost a lil more to build your own, but, would be customized to your gear and specs and would look professional. That's probably what I am gonna do.

Yea, I was going to do that, But 1... I'm lazy.. 2. That's more money, I don't need to waste on boxes. And 3. They are alot more heavy (Wood).
Plus, You wouldn't believe all the size boxes some store's has, That you can really fit your lighting in well.
And the foam packing it come's shipped in form's the cover of the light, You just need to fill in the outside of it.

I use flight cases for my lighting, all bar a few bits and bobs which I wrap in foam packing and put in some plastic boxes I bought down the market. I've got to buy some flight cases for my new lights but they're like £150 for a pair of cases and i'm gonna need 3. Ouch

Does anyone make their own box's, To fit their lighting?

By the way, Do you just wrap your light's? Or like get hard foam and cut it out in the shape of your light's? I really didn't know how to do mine, I just used the packing foam that came with the unit's, And just added more foam to the wall's of the boxes.

They wont get broke the way I have them stuffed in there, Let alone move, Got to about break the light's trying to get them out.
