laptop recording problems

hi

I want to be able to record my mixes onto my laptop, however it does not appear to have a Line-in port. It has a microphone, headphones and another line out.

is there any solution to this or do i jsut have to record onto my minidisc?

cheers for the help

I'd test the microphone jack to see if it's just mono. Maybe you'll get lucky and it will be a stereo jack.

not to start a new thread, i'm going to record mixes on my computer and i have a headphone jack and another one which appears to be for the mic(hence the mic symbol) does that mean i cant record as the mic input is too sensitve and might fry my soundcard or is there a way working around this
