Looking for DJs in Bristol / Bath / Somerset region

It looks fairly certain I am going to get my own DJ show on a local radio station. I would like to give local DJs a chance to submit a 10 to 30 minute mix. The styles I am after are Ambient, Garage, Techno, Drum and Bass, Fidget/Electro House, Breakbeat, Funky House, Chillout or any other styles you can think of. I will accept Trance, Progressive House or Progressive Trance, but considering I DJ in those styles anyway I will more likely play my own mini mix. Sorry, I am going to stay clear or RnB and Pop as it gets enough airtime already. I will accept tunes in your mix that are commercial but I would rather hear unknown/eclectic music.

I will listen to all abilities from Bedroom DJ to Professional. At the moment I am only going to get a one hour show, so I will play two or three mini mixes. So the shorter the mix is the more likely I will play it, unless it is brilliant.

I have done a pilot already, but with a discussion with the Station Manager, we need to change a few things. He especially likes the idea of giving other local DJs a chance. The show will hopefully start August or September.

You won’t have to talk on air, just send me a message with a link to your specific mix, or even an example of you previous work. I need a track list and your biography, and the mix needs to be clean with no bad language as it might be repeated before the watershed. The show should air 21:00 on Friday nights.

As it is a new show, I'll have to see what response I get from local DJs first. Initially the Station Manager and I wanted to keep it to the Bristol / Bath and Somerset area.

But I suppose if I were to use one of your mixes I could just say it was "Goldy from the South West / West Country" or whatever your DJ name is.

I'll try and contact you again in a few weeks time, to let you know how much of demand there has been and whether I can use a mix from you.

Hi mate, We already spoke on another thread, and i would be happy to submit a mix, i mix trance of most types including progressive, commerical trance, progressive psytrance and full on psytrance. I live just south of bristol. ill have a mix done by the end of next week.

P.S good on you mate for giving the opportunity to people who are trying to get more exposure, ill also try and make your new night at zoom on friday with a mate who already makes mixes on the prog/tech house side for a radio station. Be nice to chat to you after your set.
