Recording my Mixes????? - dj forums

Ok so Ive got some mixes I want to record onto the computer. How do I do it?

Are these mixes you want to play live and record them? Or you have them on CD or something?

If it's CD, you can just rip them. If you want to play them live, then you need a recording program like Sound Forge or something. You also need a "Line In" port on your sound card.

From there it's just plug in a cable from your mixer to the sound card, open up your sound recording program, and then fire away.

What computer are you using? Windows or Macintosh?
