I think I'd be able to get used to the layout, but I'm not loving some of the locations of things. Probably because I use an S2, but I like the hotcues beneath the decks. All and all I think that looks like it could be a very nice controller. Love the mode setting to save space, but that could cause problems if you want to trigger a hotcue and an effect at the same time. You thinking about getting one of these?
Looks just like the other previously released 4set and 4mx.
I spy phono grounds so i'd guess you can expand and use actual decks with it.
Other than the obviously bigger and touch sensitive platters, i'd still prefer my original RMX. This looks plasticy too.
Not a fan of the function switch mode although i guess you could map the EQ kill buttons to be either loop controls or 3 hotcues using the pads for samples.
I also dont like the idea of only 1 knob for effect parameters although you could get around that too by mapping the jogwheel to change the other parameter when the effect is active (thats what i had on my old one).
