Anyone Notice Trance Crossing Genres A F*ck Ton Lately?

Shopping around the net and looking on blogs and such for new tracks today, Ive realized, Trance is like really fucking hybrid lately. Like with artist's such as Heatbeat, fusing electro house, W&W and Ummet Ozcan fusing in dirty dutch house, Alot of shit also sounds like progressive house (like alesso and EDX)

Even at all these festivals, Trance DJ's playing the beatport top 10 progressive house chart with 1 trance track in there, even on like ASOT and FSOE and TATW /:

Its just weird, Like ive never noticed a genre get raped like this before, Dont get me wrong i kinda like some of it tbh, but like idk... Makes me wonder how long the real trance will be around for and what the fuck its gonna sound like 5 years from now, Id imagiane trance will still be around, just not sound ANYTHING like what's truly defined as trance music.

well if those are your main sources then yes: it's mainly what you are going to hear. but there is still loads of different stuff around.
