Useful software for digital DJing (and music in general) - Windows & OS X

I only know about the Windows side of things, so if people want to recommend some stuff for OS X (and Windows too) then fire away. Try and follow the template I'm using for each piece of software if you post something up. Free is best, but if the software costs $60 or less you can post it. This isn't a thread for expensive software!

^^Added. I also added in MusicBee, which is basically a more polished version of MediaMonkey and it's 100% free rather than there being a free version with some features locked out unless you pay for a license. It doesn't have as many bells and whistles as MediaMonkey, but the core music functionality is rock solid.

    +1. Sticky!!!

As a contribution, I'd also recommend ImgBurn (free on Windows) for CD/DVD/BR burning.

I'd also recommend MIDI-Ox (free on Windows) for troubleshooting MIDI. Also on that site is MIDI-Yoke, which is a virtual MIDI cable for connecting different applications together - think Traktor and Ableton, for example.

Let's also add the MixMeister BPM Tool (Windows and MacOS). It's value for me is to add BPM info that iTunes can use (I use iTunes for making playlists that easily import into DJ apps).
