The business model behind most "free" software is in-app payment to unlock functionality. Sure, an incomplete version of the software is "free", but a user will have to pay to make it completely functional. It's usually key features that require unlocking via payment.

Who works for free? No one. A caveat... Except for the people who really, really, really like to code. They do exist.

^^^ Well, another good question. Even though about the facts about this "free" program. And the facts that it is incomplete etc. The program I have now. Which makes me think of a Pimped up media player. Do I get to keep this pimped up media player "forever" or will they eventually somehow get me to "pay" something?

It's free. You just can't use any hardware with it. Or cue in-ear.

Not free, prices start at $60, and not DJing software.
