    False. I have plenty of friends (not me of course) who would never spend their hard earned money on certain bands/artists, yet because they could download their entire discography for free they did.

    There are tons and tons of people who have 10,000+ illegally downloaded songs. Are you really trying to say these people would have purchased all 10,000+ songs if there was no file sharing? Because that would be absurd
