    Quick question about DJ Pools

Hi guys, I have one quick question about DJ pools. This isn't another "Which Dj pool is the best?" thread, but more of a "am I qualified thread?". So I've done about 4 gigs in the past 2 months, and I only started 3 months or so ago. One of them were paid, the others I did as a favor to a friend or to get my name out locally. Does this make me an "event DJ" that is often a requirement on DJ pools? Do you guys think that I'm qualified as a DJ to sign up for one or two pools?

    Thanks for your input!

I wasn't an "event" Dj or had any gigs until i recently landed a weekend spot and I have belong to 3 dj pools. I love Djcity, but My12inch is good and digiwaxxx is good for a few songs but it has lower quality Mp3s. I def recommend djcity for all the new stuff, transition tracks, and remixed. My12inch has everything as well, but they have a ton of videos if your int video Djing. Hope that helps.

Thanks for that. I know Djcity is probably the way to go right now, but I've found a few free ones and I want to check them out. I'm looking into video Djing, so I'll check out My12inch, but I probably won't actually need videos for another 6-10 months I bet.

DJ Service Pack is also a free service that is helpful from time to time with videos and new releases

Based on how that looks, DJ service pack can't be legal. I wouldn't have to log in or pay anything to get the Billboard Top 40 songs.

In order to join a pool, you used to have to have legit, verifiable gigs in clubs with medium to large capacity. Now, anyone who is willing to pay the monthly fee - is approved.

This seems like the only post that respond the OP question.
Have to agree, I was worried about whether my experience counted me in as being a professional dj when I signed up to zipdj and it was soon after that I realised no one checks these things anyway. As much as pools are their to help the artists, their primary goal is to make money (most of the time)
