    4 Channel Wireless Mic Sytem

For a tiny church, so naturally a lot of emphasis on cheapest price.
Currently they are using a Shure PGX24/SM58 which a search of GC shows is about a $400 system.
There aren't any open inputs on their mixer, so four single systems would require adding another small mixer in the chain.
It doesn't appear to me that Shure or Sennheiser has an affordable four channel system. (If they do please point it out for me.)

They want three handheld mics & one headset.

    I'm thinking:
$400 - Nady U-41 Quad Handheld Wireless System

    $95 - Shure PG1 Wireless Bodypack Transmitter K7

$39 - Shure PG30TQG Cardioid Condenser Headset Mic

    total = $534

I would stay away from Nady...

Also don't you need another receiver to pick up the PG1? Can the Nady unit even learn that frequency?

If you can get this quad system, I would recommend them.

    $7,770
Granted that's list price, but even at 50% below list, that's still $3,885. That's way beyond their reach.

My bad, I didn't know that wireless components were not compatible between brands.

Not so much the "brand", but you need to make sure the receiver can be dialed in to the correct frequency... but, in most cases I would recommend using the transmitter and receiver from the same brand because they could use different companding algorithims.

    A couple points:

1 ) 4 channel systems will not mix down the four channels - each will require it's own channel on the mixer. That means you will either need to upgrade the mixer or sub-mix as you suggested

    2) Wireless systems are not compatible between brands.

All of the options you've will deliver less than desirable results. By less than desirable, I mean that they might not work at all and if they do they'll sound like garbage and/or drop out regularly. Pick up three wired handheld microphones (Shure SM58, EV N/D767 are two good options). Use the current Shure PGX system for the headset. You would be surprised how versatile a wired mic actually is - it can do almost anything a wireless can (think about Roger Daltry swinging around his wired SM58), sound better, and be more reliable than all but the most expensive wireless.

I know from looking at pictures of the back of the ones I've posted, those models do have a mixed out output jack. (Nady U-41, VocoPro UHF-5800. The GTD Audio I couldn't a picture of the back of that specific model, but pictures of other models had a mixed out.)

    It's a church, they probably have about a dozen SM57 & SM58 mics.
