Its a shame they caught their mistake, when they first put it up people were getting >50% off of upgrades until they realized it this morning. Finally grabbed m4l with this though to round out ableton, and its pretty damn nifty

pretty sweet deal if you just got ableton LE from soundcloud for free, you can upgrade for a pretty cheap price (I think). this is hte deal I used when I upgraded my free akai version to ableton 8.

Last night threw a sample of a door closing into sample glitcher, preceded that with a step sequencer and a few other midi tools followed by henke's circular doppler and some lfos to modify parameters. That's what I've been guessing.
I wouldnt put much stock in that, they've been running sales consistently since ~march or so. With every new sale everyone guesses that the next week live9 will be out, eventually someones going to be right but no sense waiting around
