I would rather be a producer who uses DJ tools and techniques to perform my productions live.
Our concept of "self" is merely the transition from the potential energy in our body into the kinetic energy of your actions.
+1 for aligning your vote to this and not claiming all producer with all the benefits of a DJ

Production>DJing. There's a reason that there are way more DJs than Producers.
Production > DJing. With that said, I do not produce but I don't consider myself an artist as a mix DJ either. It's a skill.
Also, for the poll, they do go hand in hand... the DJs that get gigs all over the country largely produce as well.
