    How much are you planning on getting? If your setting up 30+ uplights constantly, then yes, it is worth it. If your only doing about 10 or so, probably not. If you have the money, go for the Unplugged versions. Otherwise, you have to compensate for the cheaper versions with a longer setup time.

    Note that it will also be a hassle to keep them charged, so unless you buy a special road case to charge them all at the same time, your going to need a few power strips to charge them at home. And rechargeable batteries decrease in life over time.

    Something also worth noting is if you do uplighting for a variety of places that have very poor or little outlets available. For instance I have many venues that if I want the uplighting in the perfect place I have to run cords above doorways, around tables, etc. I'm looking forward to getting the battery pucks for this case alone.

    *even properly taped it could be a trip/stumble hazard. I HATE running any cords in any possible pathway.

    This is a good video showing the brightness of the RGB 10mm led pucks. I have since upgraded to the Puck 3's and the difference night and day.
