    Chauvet Color Rail IRC

question for any of you guys who have experience with these. I've found some good deals on the older non IRC versions, and was wondering if it's possible to chain several of them together with a new one in front and old ones as slaves. Basically, what I want to do is run a remote enabled one up front as the master, and then the others would be older non remote versions running as slaves, so I can control the whole chain with only one remote enabled colorrail. Doing this could probably save me several hundred dollars on an install.

I believe that yes, you can do this, but I can't tell you for sure, as I only have the newer IRCs. I remember reading about it somewhere, but I do not remember exactly where.

I would contact Chauvet just to make sure. but I don't see a reason as to why it wouldn't work.
