Thread: Genre prefixes

  1. #1

    Genre prefixes

Would it be possible to have the option to enter our own prefix or leave the section blank.
I hate selecting a prefix that doesn't match what I'm posting // sometimes I just pick a random prefix because nothing listed is suitable

its all or nothing at the moment, if there is another prefix you think should be there what is it.

That list could be a mile long, if you add all the newly made and mashed up names ppl have come up with over the last few yrs.

There are some do stick and are worth adding to the list. Here are a few that I see once in a while, besides the list you have already.

    PSY-TRANCE
    REGGAE / DUB
    ELECTRONICA
    Nu skool breaks
    Minimal
    Fidget house
    Moombahton
    dutch house
    eurodance

Although Nuskool breaks were I guess what was once IDM, before it became IDM? Then it was called intelligent breaks, like intelligent dnb became liquid?

There is also, Tear Out Breaks, Progressive Breaks, Funky Breaks.....etc.

would make no sense to add all those on the list. Best to just leave the one Break genre that's already there.

I just listed the few styles that I mostly run into, while browsing SoundCloud or the like.
