    Question V for Velari

    Hi,
I'm a female vocalist/electronic music writer and collaborator. I'm seeking input from the dj community as I'm coming to the end of a project that I have put much time, money and energy into. I wanted to find out from the live dj perspective, what is your preferred method of receiving music from an artist who would want you to consider playing their tunes, remixing them, or working with them on future projects? I ask this as I'm trying to determine whether to make the additional investment in getting flashdrives created, CDs pressed or using download cards. I hate to waste a lot of money on packaging if the packaging does not matter at all. I plan on making contacts online as much as possible, but also hitting the ground in the clubs in Los Angeles to meet people.

More power to the djs! You guys keep dance music going!

    Velari

    Thanks!!!

Thanks for the warm welcome! I'll figure out how to share my tunes. I'm more of a writer/singer/composer/producer at the moment, but I would love to try my hand at djing, as I've been into electronic music for so long. It's just hard for me to validate spending MORE money at the moment while being unemployed. I'm pouring all of my time, money and energy into trying to create movement for my music. Look forward to getting to know you guys (and I'm sure a few gals) and hear your mixes!
