Honestly what the hell is up with Beatport lately?

The Genre selection is so off its not even funny. I mean i was browsing the house section and a fucking Hardstyle track was in there listed as house. Not only is it making it harder to find the music i want... But the Beatbot tool is a joke.

I was ok dealing with all of this... Until i get to the end and they are charging me this stupid fucking "Lossless Upgrade" which is almost the same amount as my total amount... So now i am paying DOUBLE.

Hate it, but what are you gonna do? Beatport in my opinion is the (and I say this hesitantly) best EDM online store.

But the LACK of proper sub-genres makes no real sense.

Back when the CD came out, all the record companies promised to drop the prices because it's so much cheaper to produce. 25 years later guess what, it's even more expensive.
