i was playing in tokyo a while back, but i havent done much here in okinawa. mainland japan and okinawa are very different, even with music. in tokyo theres a scene for every type of music. i was playing rap, top 40, mainstream type stuff. in okinawa most places are rap, but theyre trying to establish an edm scene in a few places.

when i lived on the rock in '02-mid'03, there used to be a club in naha that had drum n bass nights.
I haven't heard of anything like that. I've just heard of the more popular ones, which are rap clubs.
i'm sure it died out. on a side note i'm craving cocos curry

I played at Kamikaze, La Boom, Baracks, played at Def Jap, and Smooth a few times.
