Looking For Specific Sound

I am looking for a specific sound that i want to start mixing with. I have always liked Techno but its so hard to find what i am looking for as sounds change and it seems like Beatport is doing a poor job of genre management. I mean for christ sakes i heard a hardstyle track that was labeled tech house.


What i am looking for is similar to what Paul Chambers mixes.

Comparable stuff on beatport is:

Sippin Yak - West D (If you listen towards the end of the preview there is this old school like bell type sound.)


I hope someone can recommend some labels/artists for me

I'm confused. I skipped through a Paul Chambers mix on Soundclound and it was all acid but the comparable song you mentioned was hip hop?

Well its an instrument that is maybe like an old funky breaks sample but at this point i dont really know how to define it or i would probably be able to find it haha
