tbh 2gb of ram will get you far. And you cant go wrong with macs in terms of reliability

That's what I was thinking on it but not sure if that CPU would be fine for what I do. I was thinking if I did get it to jump it up to 4gb ram to max it out. I found this computer for $499 so I was thinking that isn't bad since that's right around my budget since i just upgraded my speakers and my finance manager won't let me go higher lol

Trust me... Traktor will run flawlessly on that machine with 7.5 ms latency.

Sweet I am probably going to go check it out tomorrow if I have time. Would be nice if I can upgrade at least the ram to help it out

EDIT: Forgot to ask how would I be able to use more then 2 usb ports for this macbook? I was thinking of getting the new Kontrol F1 coming out but was thinking to get 2 of them but the laptop only has 2 usb's and I would need 3

Since you have mentioned that your OS is Win7 64bit (not 32bit), that OS is best suited for 4gb RAM or higher. So upgrading the RAM would really help. I would also suggest doing a reformat on your OS. Do not install unnecessary programs and re-install all important drivers especially the touchpad driver. That may solve your problem.

Yeah I was thinking of doing that to my current laptop. I have installed all the latest drivers that are needed but the touchpad still doesn't like to work much. The laptop is already down to bare minimum programs but it just seems like ever since it started running way hotter it doesn't like a big load put on it
