Opened/closed for Trouble & Bass's Samo Sound Boy and The Captain over New Years. Probably the craziest party I've ever been to, much less played. A "bouncer" passed out in front of the stage at 11:30; a foot-long bong was being passed around the crowd; some fuckhead brought a puppy (which I'm happy we didn't get pictures of); and there were plenty of contraceptives and loose articles of clothing left for us to clean up the next day. Pretty awesome. Anyway, here's way too many photos of the whole affair.
In case you're not sure, I'm the goofy looking dude that's currently in the mix.
Aaron Ruxbin and Shane Six-Ten doin' their Schmo Hawk thang.
Samo Sound Boy in the midst of his set.
This kid is the shit.
The Captain killin' it.
Warehouse rave, woo!
Samo and The Captain after their slot. They were actually really nice guys, and Samo even agreed to an interview, which I got from him a couple days later.
All-in-all, probably the best gig I've ever had.

Yes. I get one every time I play on my Xone:42. You should see what happens when I'm spinning on 2000s.
I was going for more of an Axwell vibe, but that works too. Well, the party was a complete let-down. We were told there would be hot chicks dressed in bikinis and wrestling in oil, and we got slightly above average girls wearing more than bikinis and crap. On top of that, it just wasn't a dancing event and despite our best attempts, no one danced. About halfway through we stopped trying and starting playing mortal kombat and crap.
(PS: I do keep a copy of the mortal kombat theme-song on hand (even on CD) at all times just for occasions such as this)
