Thread: Had a couple people tell my name is a little hard to remember/pronounce?

    Sometimes something taking work makes it more memorable.

    Other times you gloss over it and ignore it, too much work.

    When you build a website, and are on the phone with a potential client, and have to spell out the website name, an unusually "memorable", difficult-to-spell website name can be a pain in the butt, for both parties involved.

    Been there, done that.

    Yep,

    The only real issue ive had so far is telling people someting like 'follow me on twitter, @Detruence ...'.

    The next question is almost always 'how you spell that?'.

    I guess passing out business cards to everyone could help, cant fuck that up right.

    I used to go by 'ADM' because it's the initials of my name...People started calling me Adam.


    Now I'm playing off of my middle name 'Douglas Morgan'


    Point is, a rebrand can definitely help you if people consistently get confused.
