    Refurbished Sennheisers

Hey, I was wondering if anyone has any experience with or has heard anything about refurbished Sennheisers. I found (on ebay) the HD25 blue adidas refurbs for $170 and just wanted to know what people's opinions on getting them would be.

Most stuff that's refurbished is fixed to just like new.
Since it's $170, I doubt you'd be able to tell any difference between them & a brand new pair.

If you are buying refurbished Adidas HD-25s, make sure they are the original Adidas ones, and not just a pair of ordinary HD-25s with blue ear pads & headband fitted.

I have spoken to sennheiser about these and normally they are brand new headphones. If sennheiser send them out to a shop and then they have to return them for some reason sennheiser can not sell them as new if they already have price tags or additional bar codes stuck on by the shop, so they sell them to other retailers as refurbished. I purchased 10 pairs and they were all still sealed and new - the boxes were just a bit scuffed
