I've lived in Long Beach for only 5 years now, work in Wilmington, but am smart enough to know to stay out of most establishments on Santa Fe after dark. I eat @ Santa Fe Importers @ Anaheim everyday for lunch and am familiar with the area.

So yeah, you play in the hood, congrats.

EDIT: Oh it's closer to Willow, so not to hood, although most anything north of PCH and West of LB BLVD can get hood in the blink of an eye.

Not yet, guy never showed up on sunday to bring the box back. My contract is my insurance policy though. Im going tonight to grab the amps, tt's, mixer, and cables until the manager replaces the interface. The whole place has been a pain in the ass. Its a hood spot, and I haven't gotten paid like I'm supposed to. But I have been dealing with it, simply because of the love of music.
Do I want to kick the thief's ass... Hell yeah. But I know what problems that will bring for me, and its just not worth it. One way or another, his rep will be ruined. I'm just waiting for an arrest before I post up all the info about this douche.

I lived in LB a while ago (white suburban bumpkin moving out from ohio ) and thought the cheapest craigslist place would be fine. Hermosa and 4th st. ended up flying in and moving in with some cambodian coke dealers. moved out after a week and was homeless for another week before moving to palos verdes

the cambodians were really nice though
