It is what it is... With my regular job, I can't afford to have an altercation started by me. If he was to swing first, then I could take care of the problem. It's not even the box thats the big deal, its the respect of it all. DJ's don't steal other DJ's stuff. I'm sure he was mad at me because I wouldn't let him play until waaaaaay past his scheduled slot, but I told him why... It was a money issue between me and the promoter. Bitches wouldn't pay me for the previous party, I don't let anyone on.

I pulled all my equipment out the next day after I talked to the manager. The only things that were left were 3 par60 leds that was owned by the club. They now are using christmas lights, jbl home stereo speakers, and a pioneer home stereo receiver for an amp.

Im gonna pick up a replacement sl1 sometime in august, and get the hell out of that town. Its either hip hop or country

I'm sorry you didn't get your stuff back, but for what it's worth I think you handled yourself with dignity, as a gentleman and as a professional.

No, it didn't result in you getting what belongs to you back, but you did leave with your reputation, dignity and honour intact which, when all said and done, is worth far more than an SL1.

I would however slightly amend one of your comments...
