    Post Controllers in a club

    Ok this is a problem.

Last night im at the club and one dj has cdj's and serato

The other has serato intro and a numark mixtrack

Ok first off theses controllers do not belong in a club invirement at all

The sound was horrable and so was this dj.

    He trainwreaked every song.

Stay a bedroom dj if you dont know how to work cdj's or 1200's

They had a big issue trying to get this shit and the other dj stuff going.

Also if your going to be a controller dj learn how to use the club standard.

People need to stop teling these bedroom dj's it's ok to take that shit to the club.

    No its not.

    This is not a rant.

    Its a problem.

Im not bashing you as a controller dj but know that these dont belong in a club.

And know how to work the club standard equipment.

It took them 1hr to figure out how to hook him up into the other dj cuz it was only one connection.

Might want to be more specific on controllers... I think what the OP means is the little toy controllers do not belong in a club.

I think the OP is just mad at these specific individuals.

There is NOTHING wrong with having a controller at a club. Its not the controller, its the DJ.

So... a shitty DJ went to a club and DJ'd... Would it have been any better if he had trainwrecked on CDJs or turntables?

If he sucked as a DJ and didn't have a plethora of various connectors to make hooking up a snap, then the problem was he was just a bedroom DJ in general. He would have sucked regardless of the equipment he used.

I agree. I suck no matter what I use.

I think a good rule to have is if your controller doesn't have XLR outs, it is probably not going to be good sounding at the club or meant for club use......just sayin.
