Thread: Small 4ch mixing console build

    Small 4ch mixing console build

    Sup DJF,

here's my latest project, a 4ch mixing console; not really DJ related but I thought I'd share.

I couldn't get the preamps working from a 9V battery so it's passive for now (preamps bypassed). All the channels have volume control and pan which is fine for dawless jams and tracking synths. It was supposed to have 2-band EQ per channel but there was no space in the front panel.

    Any thoughts or improvement ideas?

    -ef

I have seen similar devices in Hifi shops for demo purposes.

    Thanks!

Yesterday I put together two nearly identical line preamplifiers for the master bus :

Then I wired them into the build (top right) :

Now, the problem is the pan controls stopped working. But I did get a few dB's more gain.
