    Are these kind of speakers simply s*it or is it the producer's fault?

    If the speaker doesn't have flat frequency response it won't accurately reproduce content without using DSP to make the response flat.

    Answered your own question right there. Speakers from the dollar store are not going to sound like speakers from the HIFI shop.
