    Site redirect wierdness

Anybody else experiencing this? I can't access this site anymore from Microsoft Edge on Win10. The site initially loads but every time I click on a thread link it either closes the app completely or gets redirected to a random website I have never seen before. But I have no problems when using Chrome.. that is how I am posting this thread. I am not seeing this problem on any other website or during general web browsing.

Stop using Edge. Anything Microsoft so desperately wants you to use is probably detrimental to you

But seriously.. to me this raises the suspicion of malware either infecting this site or your browser. I'd run antivirus scans on your machine asap just to be safe.. and stop using that browser until it's sorted out.

Personally I'm Firefox 99% of the time and if something doesn't work in Firefox I'll either just forget about it or switch to Chrome just for it (should probably use Brave instead).

Download the free version of this: https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner

If you haven't got it already. Warning, it's a deep clean, it deletes all your cookies as well so any things like passwords saved will need to be retyped again. I've been using that for years.

Yeah, you gotta be careful with CCleaner. You got to make sure you look at all the settings & what you want cleaned.... and uncheck anything you dont want cleaned. Its good, but you gotta pay attention.

But the number of US Supreme Court judges was always 6.
    Then it was 5, then 6, then 7, then 9, then 10, then 7, and then 9.

Linus Tech Tips (Techquickie) is the most popular computer tech channel on YouTube. (The channel recently turned down a 100 million dollar offer for their channel.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ub0Q6QNokUY

I trust them and all the other top tech channels that recommend using extreme caution before downloading CCleaner.
As both videos stated CCleaner used to serve a useful purpose and was something everybody used 20 years ago. But now unless you know what you are doing, you are more likely to damage your computer using CCleaner.

Microsoft Defender and browser tools should be sufficient for most people.

Interesting. I still use CCleaner knowing what it does, and I use it on 5 different machines without experiencing a single issue so far. That said, I must add that I run full separate backups of everything, so if I had to face some sort of worst case scenario, I don't really care, wipe out and reinstall the entire OS. I recently had to do a clean because running out of space, then I reinstalled another tera worth of hard drive space. I understand the point of using something that is a little more user friendly, and not so heavy on registry
