Numark controller

Hi guys, just picked up a numark NS4 FX controller, everything works good except i cannot get the loop buttons to work. I went to the place i bought it and they said it was something to do with the program. So I'm using Virtual DJ , they said the Numark is configured to work with Serato. Help ,, How do i get this to work ?
