Are Denon dj mixers just as good as Pioneer dj mixers with "sound quality"?

Hey guys, I am thinking of purchasing the denon dn-x1600 mixer

but first would like to know regarding tone and sound quality, since Pioneer seems to have the higher rep, would that denon mixer give around the same quality as a Pioneer mixer please?

Im sure you will find the Denon audio quality fine. Most modern mixers all sound pretty good to my ear. The eqs might be a little different between brands but I think you will be able to get suitable audio out of almost anything these days.
I will add that I have not used the Denon but have the pioneer nxs2 and a few other mixers along with a 200$ mixars cut. Totally different mixers but they both sound good to me.

My experience with Denon in the past has been very ehh and if you asked me 2 years ago I would have told you don't buy Denon.
But more recently I played on their latest gear and it's much better, just as good as Pioneer and I liked it. So I would say, for anyone buying new.. it's safe to buy either brand, they're both good.

But their older stuff.. I dunno if I would go for it.

Of course, Pioneer now upped their game too.. this past Saturday night I played on the CDJ3000 for the first time and loved them, quite a big improvement over the older models, the screen is so much better. Super sexy decks, and if I was made of money I'd choose them for sure But I'm not so I guess I'll just keep enjoying my XDJ-1000mk2 which.. really.. they're fine for what I do....
