Yes, after listening to WAVs and CD's predominantly I also believe I can tell the difference more often than note, it is distinguishable.
How do you feel about FLAC etc?

I don't really use it, except once when I made an album using flac studio tracks and some people wanted a straight flac version of it. That's just my opinion, but that's a standard that failed to become mainstream, mainly because it priced itself higher in the first place, just like HD CD, Quadradisc and things like that. Again it's a consumer thing, people never got why they should pay extra and not notice the difference.
That said, flac is superior to wav in terms of resolution vs space needed, it just has not taken off.

Looks like stereos will be the next thing to disappear. That's only one section of one aisle now.
They had a retro-style boombox. a bookshelf stereo system, a Crosley Cruiser record player, and a tailgate PA speaker.
But the number of US Supreme Court judges was always 6.

Yeah, Crosley. Rhymes with

Put it in the bin trolley.
Most atrocious brand ever, that. Retro modern crap etc.
Victrola even worse. The little crappy tape decks on the side always make me laugh. I guess they're an upgrade from playing your records with a screwdriver and a paper horn.
