    Anyone still using older cdjs?

Thinking about picking up a set of cdj 800mk2 or 1000mk3 to put with my numark scratch mixer. These would basically be dvs controllers. Full size pitch fader, mechanical jogs and position indicator on the jogwheels is pretty much all I need. everything else is on my mixer or mapped to my ni x1. Thoughts?

They can be purchased pretty cheap at this point and if they were not beat on I can see them still functioning fine. If it were me I would get the version that allowed a usb to be used. I find that function to be very handy but it sounds like you are using just for a controller so maybe not necessary.

Yes, just hooked my CDJ 1000's up to Serato. Obviously none of the CDJ functions work but start/stop/scratch
