Turntable / Mixer / Powered Speaker Question

    Hey all!

This is my first post, thanks for having me!

So, I'm coming up against something weird: I have a brand new Pioneer DJM 250MK2 mixer, through which I'm trying to run two Technics 1210 MK2's. Out of the mixer's master XLR outputs, I'm running one XLR cable to the left speaker, and another to the right. I'm running them to two powered Harbinger V2115 speakers. And I'm not getting any sound? Am I missing something? Do I need to link the speakers together?

    Any help would be great!

    Thx.

First check if you can get sound via RCA from mixer to speakers.
If that works then plug in the XLRs and turn up the master a little and the input gain a little on the speakers.
Make sure your channel output is going through as normal and all the faders are up etc.
Its easy to forget something obvious when setting up new gear, just take it steady and eliminate each part of the signal chain as you go.
bored, curious, deaf or just bad taste in music?
    finally a mix by me
and what's this, another shoddy mix...another dull mix
