How do we delete our posts now?

I can't seem to find a way to delete a post. In DJFv1, we only had that ability if we were VIP. In DJFv2, I don't think that we can do it - VIP or otherwise.

You don't have a delete option when you click edit?
Everybody is going to have an opinion.
Just do your thing to the best of your ability and have fun with it.

I didnt realize that we could delete any post including our own. I thought only an admin could delete a post... humm, I learned a new trick today. You can teach an old dog new tricks
    1) How should I know... Ask the client!
    2) If you put it where I can see it, I'm gonna look at it. If you don't want me to see it, keep it covered up.

VIP currently does not have deletion permissions.

Umm... no you can't. Deleting other threads is only accessible through the moderation panel, and only mods, super mods, and admins get that.

Exactly.. Thats what I though.. Thanks for clearing that up.
Again, I was sure we couldnt delete ANY posts.. including our own.

However, you can edit & delete the text from the post.. but once you delete the text, you have to put something in the text area because the forum requires a few characters in a post.

So, if you want to delete that post... you CAN'T. BUT you can edit... then delete the text from the post. Hope this help

I hate when I change my post cause I said something stupid, and someone goes and quotes me before I change it... and my stupid statement becomes immortal.

Please reconsider allowing VIP members to delete their posts across the forum. That was a useful feature.
