CDJ-350 to Rekordbox

Just purchased some CDJ-350's second hand and cant seem to get them working with Rekordbox. I can play music through rekordbox by pressing play on my laptop and adjust everything through my mixer but cant use the CDJ's to press play/cue or do anything?

What am i doing wrong?

Ive only got the free rekordbox that i downloaded from their website? Could this be the issue?

If it's the latest Rekordbox 6, the free plan only works with these units:
DJM-V10
DDJ-1000/800/400/200
DDJ-RZX/RZ/RX/RR/RB/WeGO4
DDJ-XP1/XP2
XDJ-XZ/RX2/RR/RX(*)
DJM-750MK2/450/250MK2
INTERFACE 2

Other units you have to go for one of the monthly paid plans.
However, you can still download Rekordbox 5, which supports more devices for free: https://rekordbox.com/en/download5/
