    Site “not secure”

Not sure why but I would guess (can’t see rn) it’s http instead of https? Would be good to fix whatever is telling my browser the site isn’t secure.

Yeah. SSL requires a cert and some other stuff. I looked into it and thought that it doesn't really matter.

Just make sure you're not using the same password for your banking and other personal sites as you do here.

Oh no. They're all the same password. I'm supposed to change it? How am I supposed to remember so many damn passwords?

I always use "P@55word" as my password for all of my sites, so I'm good.

The top 10 most common passwords were:
    123456 (23.2 million accounts)
    123456789 (7.7 million)
    qwerty (3 million)
    password (3 million)
    111111
    12345678
    abc123
    1234567
    password1
    12345
But the number of US Supreme Court judges was always 6.
    Then it was 5, then 6, then 7, then 9, then 10, then 7, and then 9.

    Those are some shit PWs.

I'm just saying, if you're out and about and someone is monitoring protocols or running a packet analyzer on a network (public wi-fi maybe), the get/send transactions on an http site is not encrypted. Https would encrypt the send and received packets. Using a VPN would do the same and do a better job so if you're using one, no need to worry.

But yah, logging on with your user name and password is open for sniffers. Just throwing that out there.

I wonder what percentage of those passwords on that Top 10 List are work computers and what percentage are personal computers?

I know most places I've worked had a really easy to remember password since several people share the same computers.
Plus once on a computer a lot of people probably used a really easy to remember password for their eMail account since they probably don't care if it gets hacked.

I like the military and ATM version of a password. Insert a card plus type in your PIN. And if movies are to be believed higher government security uses a third step that includes scanning an eye, a hand, or a thumb.
