But the number of US Supreme Court judges was always 6.
    Then it was 5, then 6, then 7, then 9, then 10, then 7, and then 9.

You should give it time, It'll come by itself...the choice I mean. I always choose digital when there's a lot of work to do, like playing 150 tracks in 5 hours but whenever I have the time and want to enjoy the magic I would go vinyl or even cd's sometimes

I don’t think that switching to vinyl will make you a better DJ. Knowing how to DJ on any particular platform that you choose will make you a better DJ. Basically, in addition to knowing your music and your audience, you need to know your equipment.

I started out on vinyl a few decades ago. It was the only format I knew. Modern equipment has successfully mimicked vinyl DJ’ing with CDJ’s, DVS, and Controllers. In 2020(2018) I personally wouldn’t start my trek into DJ’ing on vinyl. Vinyl DJ’ing is fun and mostly nostalgic, but non of today’s hardware and software require the complete skill set of DJ’ing with vinyl. I would rather spend more time getting better on current technology and then revert to vinyl as niche thing. I have a room full of stored vinyl that I haven’t touched in over 15 years or more. I occasionally pull out an LP and listen to it on my home stereo and automatic turntable. My 1200’s stay in their cases and haven’t been used since I moved away from Scratch Live.

Training and playing with vinyl is discipline. Unless you suck from it.

No other digital equipment including the Rane 12 can replicate a vinyl turntable 100%. Only a vinyl turntable can feel like a... vinyl turntable accurately. That is fact.

Very silly statement from a guy who claims to have started with vinyl. Like I said, unless you sucked playing and beat matching with vinyl.

A true vinyl DJ will always play with them once in a while if not often. Legendary DJs like Carl Cox and Roger Sanchez still do especially when they're home or at special small intimate events.

Well that's you choice. Don't discourage others.

First off I stated that this was my opinion. Second, I don’t appreciate you passing judgment and referring to my opinions as silly. Who TF do you think you are? I’ve respected you up to now. But you can go somewhere with that BS! I don’t have time for it.

So you can’t develop discipline playing on a DVS or moving platter controllers?

I've said my opinion and I don't force anyone to accept it. But it seemed it hurt your ego bigtime.

It’s not an ego thing at all. Check you DM. My ego is always checked in at the door. It’s the passion and knowledge that I have for the art of DJ’ing that you offended. I’ve respected everyone’s opinion on this forum regardless if I agreed with them or not and I’ve come to expect the same. But that’s all I have to say about that.
