    Looking for a raw subwoofer

Hi, I'm building a sub for my mobile dj rig. I need a 15" single voice coil 4ohm 1200(+) watt rms sub. Please let me know if anyone was any recommendations, thanks!

Lots of options then like Parts Express. The B&C 15TBX100 is the cheapest option I'd recommend and the 15TBW100 is the updated version, and if you want light weight they also have neo drivers. Any reason you're not looking at 18" drivers?

I already have a box for the 15 that I'd like to use. That b&c is 8 ohm and the amp runs four. This is the issue I keep running into

They have a 4 ohm version too, just select that option on the left when searching for drivers on the PE site.

That's not an issue. The 4 ohm rating of the amp is the lowest usable impedance, not the only usable impedance. Matching the driver Thiele/Small specs to the enclosure is the issue. It can only be done using speaker modeling software.
