Getting back into it after 25 years, Looking for Cartridge/Needle Recommendations.

Hi, I have a set up with 4 1200's I would like to replace the Cartridge/Needle on them, I am looking for a Good all around set up, I do a lot of scratching and mixing, But would also like a decent sound. This at the time is only a hobby not looking to make mixed tapes Lol okay it has been a while. Thanks

But the number of US Supreme Court judges was always 6.
    Then it was 5, then 6, then 7, then 9, then 10, then 7, and then 9.

Mix is the cheapest model, it's not really designed for a lot of scratching.
Definitely go with the Scratch since you plan on scratching.

if you are on a budget i'd get Om Pro S (old model) and scratch needles.
although I have the concorde ones and they have lasted me over 20 years, the plastic lift thingy has a tendancy to snap off, and they have potential to damage the pogo pins on the tonearm.
bored, curious, deaf or just bad taste in music?
    finally a mix by me
and what's this, another shoddy mix...another dull mix

Farhanashraf, I plan to start a post about DVS ( I am going to need help with that also but would like to keep the posts separate ), it is a plan for the future but I have a lot of vinyl also. I don't plan on doing Parties or anything anymore, this is just going to be a hobby now.

Would the Scratch be okay with the DVS or do I need the digital?

They address both of hose in the video.
The MkII Series has a removable/replaceable tonearm lift.
The contracts aren't spaced exactly the same as the Technics headshell but they do line up without channel dropping or bad Serato scopes.

There is no such thing as sound quality with a DVS system. There is either a single or there isn't a single.

Frankly, I wouldn't use record players if I was planning on just using a DVS.
I would just get a Rane TWELVE and a Pioneer DJM-S3 mixer.
Or if you can afford it two Rane TWELVEs and a Rane SEVENTY-TWO mixer.

Or just get an all in one controller like a Pioneer DDJ-1000SRT, DDJ-1000, XDJ-XZ, DDJ-RZX, or something similar.
