    PA Setting Up

    Hi Guys

    I have a pair of Mackie Thump 15A's and a Behringer B1200D.
Question i have is, Do i connect from the mixer to the Mackies, then to the Behringer and hit the sub button on the Mackie's or
Connect mixer to the Behringer and come out of the Output A/B 100Hz to each Mackie

    TIA

Both methods are OK to use but logistically it a bit tidier to go to the sub first and then link out from there to the tops.

As you have both options, just test which sounds better in the venue you are playing.
bored, curious, deaf or just bad taste in music?
    finally a mix by me
and what's this, another shoddy mix...another dull mix

I'd use the 100hz high pass out of the sub and leave the sub (high pass) switch turned off on the tops. And the reason for this is because then you have got a matched set of high pass and low pass, whereas if you use the high pass in the tops they may not match the frequency and slope of the low pass in the sub.

Also, once set up, try the phase switch on the sub both ways to see what sounds better.
