Speaker suggestion needed
A friend and I were Djing simple events using two JBL SF-15s. One of them is now broken. Is there a set of speakers that you would recommend to replace these?
This is a description from zzounds. This trapezoidal, 15 in. speaker system is at home in live sound, dance music and speech reinforcement. All SoundFactor speakers are equipped with low and high-frequency driver built-in their Northridge, California factory. Features include a cast metal 35mm pole mount socket as well as Neutrik Speakon and 1/4 in. input connectors. The continuous power capacity is 250 watts with an impressive peak power capacity of 1000 watts.
We don't have hardly any money to spend. We're kind of screwed right now because now we have to get speakers, or a speaker, to replace these. One of the speaker still works. No one fixes this stuff in our town.

The low end is there. The middle and high end is low low low volume.

Play this track through your speaker and note where the volume drops off. If it starts to drop off around 1600 hz and up then your high frequency diaphram is broken. You can get the replacement diaphram I linked above for $15 for a pair of them or get a jbl replacement for $50 here. The cheap diaphragm I listed wont sound as good as the jbl replacement but is the cheapest option.

Actually try to find the diaphragm on amazon so you can get it faster, search for "2412H-1 diaphragm"
