    I suppose it depends on how high-up the deck platform is, in relation to the floor and subs. I used to love clubs with a 'crow's nest'; the dancefloor couldn't really see you, but you could see all of it, and the soundsystem didn't interfere so much with the decks. Low stages, or a set-up on part of the floor brings it's own problems.

    Personally, I'd rather be up high and 'invisible', than on the centre of a low stage for everyone to face.

    Seems like the ideal DJ booth to me.
    Like Studio 54, which looks like it was about six or seven feet above the dance floor.
    But the number of US Supreme Court judges was always 6.
    Then it was 5, then 6, then 7, then 9, then 10, then 7, and then 9.

    yea, and it feels more dynamic on the dancefloor when everyone is not facing the same way.
