Thanks for the video, because I see something different. You shouldn't get anything lighting up when the faders are down, if I'm not mistaken.

There might be another sort of issue going on. If I may suggest something, please try to swap your TT cables around, and see if the problem stays on the same channel or if it moved to the other one. Double check the grounding too, because this seems unusual. Also maybe related to being a new purchase, but let's not get that far at this point.

That's very unusual, I have never seen anything like this.

So the mixer channel VU will light up regardless of the fader being down? Also I am wondering if your gain is pushed higher than 12 o clock.

Regarding the tapping on the desk you could isolate the feet using tennis balls halves. Are your slipmats soft or hard?

That's just weird, I wonder if anyone had anything similar, because I never seen that in my life before.

Weird issue. Has me thinking the laptop microphone is picking something up.
bored, curious, deaf or just bad taste in music?
    finally a mix by me
and what's this, another shoddy mix...another dull mix

    Technics feedback issue

I know there is no such thing as perfect equipment. This kind of stuff is so disappointing though. I had this same issue with my DJM 450 mixer as well. I love my Technics, and I love the feel of vinyl, but sometimes I think if I just bought a controller again, or some type of CDJ, I would be with less issues. These turntables have been somewhat of a problem from the beginning, and I do realize buying them used is a big gamble. I love my S9 mixer. I can say that for sure.

That looks like a separate issue. My guess would be loose soldering on one of the boards in the mixer.
If it's still under warranty I'd take it back to the store where you bought it & try to exchange the mixer.
But the number of US Supreme Court judges was always 6.
    Then it was 5, then 6, then 7, then 9, then 10, then 7, and then 9.

Hey hey, smart. That could be a potential problem. Windows95 also has a point, and I also thought about a (brand new?) mixer issue, but it's always best to rule out anything else before putting the finger on the mixer.
