What did you think about and replace the EV Live X set up with? I still have the subs and tops, but I use my Yamaha DX12 tops.

When you finally quit buying DJ gear, you will get into something else, and the buying process starts all over again.

i haven't replaced them yet. not sure if i will. they aren't incredibly loud, but they sound pretty good and get the job done. my only gripe wit the subs is that the limit light comes on way too early it seems. just have to face reality with their output. i'd say i have to almost triple the price of each item to get a significant increase in output and sound quality.

I bought some speakers again, to suit the new amp. I think I have about 16 in the room at the moment. Boy does it feel good when you fire it all up, effortless power. I have to say it was not a compulsive buy, it was planned and thought out.

It's going to be a bit of a mouthful.

Arcam amp, Jamo center, Rogers DB101 for the front of house top end and Mission 78ds Black discrete cinema sides, Panasonic modified arrays at the back. That's going to join the rest of the gear.
