^^ yes, and make sure you eat properly a good couple of hours before the gig; sometimes you can get a shaky hand through a lack of vitamins when you need them most. Don't worry; the nerves will turn to adrenaline/buzz as soon as you get behind the decks. Wherever the decks are, they're still the decks, and you know what to do on them! All the Best

I feel totally exhausted and my body is heavy with dread. Can't snap out of it. Fingers crossed

You'll do fine and then realise you stressed for nothing.

Hey, my gig ended up going really well in the end! I didn't train wreck or cue the wrong track lol! More importantly my transitions were OK. Bit of a sloppy mix towards the end but overall I surprised myself. Took a few mixes for my ears to adjust, at home my headphones are really low but in the club they were maxed out haha and still weren't loud enough. Mixed in headphones in the end. Going to get some safety ear plugs. Hope I get another gig. I already miss the buz. Thanks everyone

Glad everything worked out so well!

What I do is to leave my headphones on and just turn them real low when I'm not mixing and just crank them up for the mix.
I leave the monitors very low.

So my ears get a rest for at least a minute or so every track.

^^^ Same, I turn down my headphones all the way down when not mixing, and use them as extra ear protection.
